How do I clean my KAMBUKKA bottle?

What is Snapclean®?
Do you want to be sure that not a single drop of tea, coffee or sports drink remains in your bottle?
That's no problem. With our patented Snapclean® system, you simply have to squeeze the mechanism to pull it out completely. If that's not easy!
How do I remove the Snapclean® mechanism?
Squeeze the SNAPCLEAN® mechanism to remove it. This way you can easily clean your bottle (don't worry, it can go in the dishwasher). After cleaning, put the mechanism back in the lid and press the protruding parts until you hear a click. It couldn't be simpler!
Can my KAMBUKKA bottle be put in the dishwasher?
All Tritan plastic caps and bottles are dishwasher safe – go ahead!
After cleaning, be sure to drain the caps thoroughly and let them dry separately.
For stainless steel cups and bottles that are lacquered or printed, we recommend hand washing; the detergents in the dishwasher can fade the print on your bottle.
Sometimes, over time, a residue/deposit of coffee or tea appears on the inside: this is completely normal, and you can get it perfectly clean again with our Cleaning Tabs!
Kambukka general use
What should I do before first use?
We know you're eager to use your KAMBUKKA bottle, but be sure to wash all parts with soapy water before drinking for the first time.
Can I also use my KAMBUKKA bottle for drinks other than water?
Yes! If you have bought a plastic (tritan) bottle, you can also use it for drinks other than water, for example for fruit juice or (non-carbonated) lemonade.
Can I use my KAMBUKKA for carbonated drinks?
We do not recommend using our bottles for carbonated drinks. If you really want to, the Elton is the best suited to handle carbonated drinks.
Can I use the KAMBUKKA stainless steel bottles for hot drinks?
For sure! Our stainless steel bottles Etna and Olympus are designed so that you can fully enjoy your coffee or tea on the go!
If you want to fill your KAMBUKKA with a boiling liquid, you must let the liquid cool for at least 3 minutes before putting the lid on.
If the liquid is too hot, the pressure in the bottle may become too high. This can cause the liquid to squirt out, causing burns. Always press the button with the cup upright, away from your face, to release the pressure before drinking.
Can my KAMBUKKA bottle go into the refrigerator, freezer, microwave or sterilizer?
No! We recommend not to put your bottle in the microwave, refrigerator, freezer or sterilizer as this may damage your beloved KAMBUKKA.
Why is my KAMBUKKA bottle leaking?
All Kambukka bottles are 100% leak-proof. Yay! But if liquid does escape from your bottle, it might be because of this:
3 in 1 lid: your Snapclean® has not been clicked into the lid properly. Prevent your bottle from leaking by pushing the Snapclean® mechanism into the lid with two fingers until you hear a click.
Spout lid: your spout lid is not fully closed. You should hear a click when you close the cover of your spout cover. Otherwise, water may leak through the opening into the spout. But you can rest assured: the water cannot escape through the air hole in the lid itself!
Warranty & returns
What is the warranty on KAMBUKKA products?
KAMBUKKA offers a two-year warranty on all bottles purchased from kambukka.co.uk and authorized retailers with proof of purchase.
Please note that this warranty only covers manufacturing defects of the product.
Worn parts, dents, scratches, and paint chipping or any other misuse of product or care instructions (washing, etc.) are not grounds for replacement and are not recognized or covered by the warranty as they result from normal product use.
Intentional damage to and misuse of the product may void the warranty.
What are the terms and conditions for returns?
We accept returns up to 1 month after delivery.
To be eligible for a return, items must be unused , in the original packaging and in a resalable condition.
What is the return procedure?
You can send your Kambukka, with your order number - in its original condition- and the accessories in the original packaging to:

You will be required to pay the shipping costs for returning your package.
The full purchase price of the product and the original shipping costs will be refunded to your account no later than 30 days after receipt of your return shipment.
Orders and Payments
Can I cancel or edit my order?
Once you have placed your order, we are unfortunately unable to cancel it as all orders are processed immediately to ensure fast delivery.
If you no longer want the Kambukka you ordered, you can refuse delivery when the delivery person arrives.
I have not yet received my order confirmation
For every order, an order confirmation will be sent within a few minutes, provided that you have entered your correct email address.
Have you checked your spam folder? Sometimes the confirmation ends there.
If you really have not received an order confirmation, please fill out our contact form and we will contact you as soon as possible.

Which countries does KAMBUKKA ship to?
The kambukka.co.uk shop only ships within the United Kingdom.

How much are the shipping costs?

How long does it take for my order to be delivered?
If placed before 1:00 PM, parcels will take 1-4 days to arrive.
As soon as your package leaves us, you will receive an email from the webshop system. You will also receive an email from the carrier stating that the goods have been picked up and are being prepared for delivery.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has been shipped, we will send you a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number.
Click on the link in the email to track the shipping status of your Kambukka package.
Please note, the tracking status will only update once the carrier has received your package at their distribution center.
