    FAQ

    How does the lid of the Dupla work?

    The Dupla lid has two drinking modes. Rotate the lid 180° to switch between straw mode — drinking through the straw — and sip mode — drinking directly through the opening. This way you can choose whichever drinking style suits you best, whether you're working out, at your desk or on the go.

    What is the difference between the Dupla Insulated and the Dupla Tritan?

    The Dupla Insulated is made from double-wall stainless steel and keeps drinks cold for up to 24 hours or hot for up to 12 hours. The Dupla Tritan is a lightweight plastic bottle, suitable for cold drinks only. Choose the Dupla Insulated if you like to bring cold or hot drinks with you. Choose the Dupla Tritan if you simply want to carry water.

    How do I know the Dupla is properly closed?

    To fully seal the bottle and prevent leaks, press the lid down firmly with your thumb until you hear a distinct click.

    Can I put the Dupla in the dishwassher?

    The lid is dishwasher-safe on all Dupla bottles. For Tritan bottles, both the bottle and lid can be cleaned in the dishwasher. For insulated bottles, the bottle itself should not be placed in the dishwasher, as this may damage the double-wall insulation. Instead, wash it by hand with warm soapy water or use a Kambukka Queen of Clean cleaning tablet for a thorough clean.

    Does my water stay cold?

    Only the insulated Dupla bottles feature double-wall vacuum insulation to keep your drinks cold for longer. Depending on the size, your Dupla keeps drinks cold for:

    • 600 ml: up to 21 hours
    • 750 ml: up to 21 hours
    • 1000 ml: up to 48 hours

    Please note that Tritan Dupla bottles are not insulated and do not have temperature-retention properties.

    Is the Dupla Insulated also suitable for coffee on the go?

    The Dupla Insulated can technically be used for hot beverages, but we recommend using this bottle for water only. We advise against drinking coffee from a straw bottle as it may cause burns. For the best user experience and to maintain the quality of the Dupla Insulated, we therefore recommend using it only for water.

    Can I carry the Dupla around my shoulder or neck?

    The Dupla comes standard with a handy silicone loop. Want to carry your bottle even more easily? You can purchase the Dupla Strap separately as an accessory. With the Dupla Strap, you can comfortably wear your bottle around your neck or shoulder — ideal for festivals, day trips or a busy day on the go.
